The interpretation of your astrology chart begins on the
following page.

You will find that the interpretation of your chart is
written in simple language, uncluttered by astrological jargon.
If a statement appears to contradict another statement, then you
exhibit these opposite qualities at different times in your
life. For example, a statement that you are highly sociable and
gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly
contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need
both sociability and solitude at different times.

The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on
is also given. The astrological factor is given for the benefit
of astrologers and students of astrology. If you are not a
student of astrology, then obviously the factor will not be
meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.

If you find this interpretation of your birth chart
interesting and informative, you might want to discuss your
birth chart with a professional astrologer to learn more about
the astrological influences on your life.

Your birth chart interpretation is based on the positions of
the planets at the time of your birth. For the benefit of
students of astrology, these positions, along with other
technical information, are listed below:

               Chapter 1: General Characteristics

Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards
life are symbolized by the four astrological elements. Each
person has their own unique balance of these four basic
energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth
(practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and
intellectual qualities), and water (emotional needs and
feelings).

Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that
most people are "unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking
or deficient in a certain element (or elements), it simply means
that you need to consciously develop that aspect of yourself to
learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that dimension of
life.

Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed
with, sensing it as a lack within ourselves, but more often we
neglect or ignore it. The qualities described below will be
reiterated and explained in more detail in the following
chapters.

You value order and security in your life and prefer dealing
with known quantities, following clearly defined guidelines in
order to achieve your aims. Reason rather than emotion rules
you, and you think in clear, practical, no-nonsense terms. You
are uncomfortable with ambiguity, emotional impulsiveness or
extremism, and things which cannot be explained in rational
terms. Even spiritual or mystical realms, if you have any
interest in such things at all, must have either some scientific
basis or be proven to you through your own experience and
practice.

You think a situation through thoroughly before deciding
upon a course of action, assessing and analyzing the matter
carefully, and can be relied upon to come to a fair, reasonable,
and sensible solution to whatever confronts you.

You are able to handle practical matters very efficiently,
using both deductive reasoning ability and manual skill.
However, it is easy for you to become overly "adult" and to lose
touch with the spontaneous, playful, vibrant, and childlike side
of yourself. You can become too organized and controlled, not
allowing your emotions or creative, playful impulses full
expression, and a certain dryness or emptiness will result. You
need to learn to appreciate a certain degree of "creative
chaos"!

You have difficulty dealing with your own and others'
emotions. Feelings and the emotional reality of a situation are
often ignored or discounted by you and you may thus seem
insensitive or uncaring to others. Deep emotional rapport,
empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to the feelings of others
is something that you need to develop, and will be in more
evidence later in life rather than in your youth.

Though you may appear emotionally self-sufficient or above
it all, your denied feelings can result in physical problems, so
it is wise and important for you to learn to acknowledge and
express all of your emotions.

You may also find that you crave a great deal of liquid, or
to live near bodies of water, as a way to gain balance.

As we shall see in the next chapter, you express yourself in
an energetic manner, which enables you to put your practical
ideas into action.

Chapter 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others

The following is a description of your basic stance towards
life, the way others see you, the way you come across, the face
you show to the world. In Chapter 3 you will read about the "The
Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes the kind of
person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read
this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be
significant differences between them, in which case "the inner
you" may not shine through and others are in for some surprises
when they get to know you at a more than superficial level. This
chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in life, while
Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.

High-spirited, enthusiastic, and exuberant, you love
adventure, change, exploring new territory, and are not happy
confined to the same safe, familiar, secure little world all the
time. You have a strong restlessness and yearning for something
greater than anything you've yet experienced, and you often live
in your dreams and visions for the future. You tend to believe
that the grass is greener somewhere else and you like to keep
moving, either literally or figuratively. Idealistic and
optimistic, you always expect something better ahead. You love
to have a goal, something to aim for, but once you achieve it
you are on to something else. You are ever on the lookout for
new opportunities and you are a gambler, willing to take risks
and to break new ground. The possibility of discovering
something new is what makes life interesting for you. You have
great faith in life and bounce back quickly from disappointment
and failure.

Freedom-loving and independent, you cannot tolerate being
caged for very long, and friends and loved ones must respect
your need for freedom of movement. Binding commitments and
responsibilities often weigh heavily upon you and you may resist
"growing up" and taking on the limitations of adult life.

You are friendly and outgoing and have a great sense of fun
and playfulness. You are also philosophically minded and often
quite outspoken about your convictions and beliefs. Sometimes
you get carried away with your enthusiasm of the moment and you
tend to exaggerate. You are often a big talker, a big promiser,
and you are usually pretty convincing. You do everything in a
big way, a generous way. You like to have the best, and you
heartily dislike stinginess, littleness, or pettiness. Your
vision is always large. You are able to perceive the big
picture, general patterns and principles, and are well suited to
politics, business, higher education or religion.

Other people see you as a good sport and a good friend, but
one who is not always consistent and dependable. You may also be
seen as a wise person since you do not get bogged down in
pettiness and trivialities, and are able to communicate a larger
way of looking at situations, one that opens up new potentials.
You are a person who believes in miracles, grace, or just plain
good luck, someone who never gives up on life, and you inspire
and encourage others to keep looking forward.

At times your feisty spirit, aggressiveness, and a
too-forceful approach get you into trouble. You tend to take
offense when none was intended. you may be viewed as a
troublemaker, an upstart, or an egotist with little concern for
others. Moderate your temper to avoid constant irritation with
those in your environment.

You have an appealing physical appearance and this, along
with your winning ways, is apt to make you a favorite in your
immediate environment. You're the "easy" one, and you know how
to please others. Don't take your personal charm for granted,
however, because you may also seem vain or too needy for
approval.

You project a feeling of broad-mindedness, generosity, and
beneficence, a sense that you're someone others should listen to
and treat with respect. Because you generally make such a
favorable impression on people, many doors are open to you, and
it may seem that you are somehow luckier than other people.
Mostly this is due to the confidence you emanate.

Your family conditions may have been a bit oppressive,
adding a note of gravity to your personality. Somewhat insecure,
you may feel that others restrain you, have doubts about mankind
in general and a fear of failure.

Chapter 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation

Inside, you are quite different than your freewheeling,
confident, playful demeanor (mentioned in the previous chapter)
would suggest. Although you like to theorize and speculate and
dream big dreams, you are basically clearheaded and practical.
However, you also worry and fret a great deal, although others
may not know this from your jovial demeanor.

At heart you are modest and humble, and you rarely strive to
be in the limelight or in a position of power. You have a sharp
analytical mind, a keen eye for detail, and you prefer to
observe, dissect, and study life from a distance. Conscientious
and conservative, you can be relied upon to be careful,
efficient, and thorough in your work and you take pride in doing
a job well. What you may lack in self-confidence you often make
up for in skill - developing expertise, technical knowledge, and
competency in some specialized area. You are adept at using your
hands to create or fix things, and meticulous attention to
detail and careful craftsmanship are your forte. Some would say
you are a little TOO meticulous, for you can be extremely
critical and petty if everything is not done exactly as you
think it should be, and you worry about things that other people
consider trivial and unimportant. You like to organize,
categorize, and arrange everything into a logical system, and
you are often distinctly uncomfortable when something does not
fit into a neat category. Disorganization vexes you. You
probably wish that you were not such a perfectionist, for
besides being a stickler for details, you can be mercilessly
self-critical as well. Whether in your environment or in
yourself, you tend to focus on the flaws, with a desire to
improve, refine, and perfect. You are strictly factual,
truthful, and scrupulously honest in your self-estimation, and
you often do not give yourself enough praise or credit.

You are also highly discriminating and may be especially
particular about your diet, hygiene, and health habits. You have
high aesthetic standards and refined sensitivities, and will be
bothered by elements in your surroundings (such as disorder,
cigarette smoke, etc.) that others overlook. Your tastes are
simple, understated, but refined. Coarseness, bluntness, and
vulgarity really offend you. You can be difficult to live with
sometimes because of your fastidiousness, your sensitivity, and
your idiosyncrasies about food and cleanliness.

Though you seem rather cool and self-contained, you have a
very helpful nature and you enjoy serving others. You are
content to be in a supportive, assisting role rather than in the
lead. You are quietly devoted to the ones you care for.

You are careful and cautious in your approach to life,
realistic, practical, and disinclined to gamble. You analyze
before you act. You are too serious sometimes. Allowing yourself
to play and to make mistakes would be HEALTHY for you!

World travel, foreign cultures, and studies which expand
your intellectual horizons and broaden your understanding of the
world are very attractive to you.

You have a philosophical turn of mind and are concerned
with seeking answers to the big questions of life or getting the
overview of any situation. Abstract concepts and/or plans for
the future occupy your mind much of the time.

You often feel that you are at cross purposes with yourself,
for your conscious intentions and desires conflict with your
subconscious emotional needs and drives. You are pulled in two
different directions. You have difficulty satisfying both your
need to be an individual and your need for caring relationships
and a sense of belonging. Also, you send out mixed messages so
people don't always know how to respond to you or know what you
really want, thus creating confusion or conflict in close
relationships.

Realistic and practical, you set goals for yourself that are
modest enough for you to actually achieve. You are able to
tackle long, difficult projects and see them through, for you
possess self-discipline, concentration, and perseverance. You
also have a strong sense of responsibility and are very
conscientious in fulfilling your obligations. Often you do
things because you feel it is expected of you.

You are creative and talented, but must develop
self-discipline to channel your energies productively. You may
feel that everything is going to be all right, that you cannot
lose and may take risks by gambling or speculating, which could
result in disappointments.

You love to entertain and like to cultivate social contacts.
You enjoy forming close personal ties with others and most of
them should be harmonious. You prefer teamwork rather than
separate efforts to realize your goals.

Chapter 4: Mental Interests and Abilities

One of your greatest assets is your ability to see both
sides of an issue, and to negotiate and bring about compromise
and reconciliation. Tactful, reasonable, and with considerable
social finesse, you work well with people in business as well as
in personal relationships. You are objective and somewhat
detached from emotional bias, and make an excellent consultant,
mediator, or public relations person. You insist upon fairness
and seek to bring harmony or at least peaceful coexistence
between people, and your diplomacy is a benefit in any business
or social situation. You also have fine aesthetic sensitivities
and could work in an artistic or cultural environment.

You have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and wisdom
and for an ever broadening understanding of life. You are the
perpetual student and will be involved in higher education,
philosophy, or religion. Law, broadcasting, publishing, or the
field of communications are also areas that interest you. World
travel and studying other cultures are also strong urges of
yours.

You would be an excellent teacher or counselor for you
listen sympathetically, and encourage others to express their
inner thoughts and feelings. People trust and confide in you,
and you are able to read between the lines and to sense what
their feelings are as well as what they are saying. You work
well with and understand women, and the emotional, feminine side
of life. You are articulate on personal (rather than factual or
technical) subjects. Keeping a diary or journal would be
satisfying for you. You also have a talent for learning
languages.

Never satisfied with the face value of anything, you are
always probing beneath the surface for deeper reasons and hidden
motives - though you rarely reveal your own. You have a very
suspicious, even paranoid, side. You mind is penetrating and
deep and you have an aptitude for research, investigative
reporting, or private investigation. You are keenly interested
in the deeper aspects of the human psyche, with a sort of "x-ray
vision" regarding the inner motivations and intentions of
others. You are drawn to anything secret, hidden, or mysterious,
and may pursue esoteric or occult studies. You are also a
forceful and convincing speaker or writer, with the ability to
influence people's thinking by the sheer power of your
conviction.

Prudent and far-sighted, you have a talent for organizing
and negotiating advantageous business deals. You have a wealth
of plans and are capable of thinking them out and putting them
into action successfully. You seem to have the sense to avoid
any real risky ventures.

You tend to be guided by wrong impressions of people and
could easily deceive yourself about their character. On the
other hand, you also may try to exploit other people's weakness
and may even think of becoming involved in things that are a
little shady.

Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance

You do not appear to be an intensely emotional or
sentimental person, and you are often unaware of your own or
other people's deeper feelings and emotional needs. Tears and
tantrums bewilder you and make you very uncomfortable. You would
rather settle differences by talking things out reasonably and
rationally, but you tend to ignore or poke fun at any attempt to
probe your own or others' inner depths.

You avoid heavy, demanding emotional involvement and are
wary of making personal commitments.

You need plenty of mental stimulation and you feel close to
people with whom you can share thoughts and mental interests.
Conversation is very important to you. The strong, silent type
of partner is not for you.

You have a sympathetic nature and instinctively reach out
to people in need of help. You also have a deeply ingrained
tendency to want to improve or "fix" other people's lives, which
can be annoying to the person who has no desire to be changed or
"helped" in this way. For you, affection and caring must be
expressed in tangible acts or service of some kind.

You have an optimistic outlook, good intuition and the
ability to find and use opportunities to your advantage. Your
quick understanding of things allows you to see beyond ordinary
limits, and you have the courage to exploit unexpected breaks.

You are inclined to be somewhat gloomy, are easily offended,
and you try to suppress the jealousy you may feel. You may have
been brought up to sacrifice and forego a lot of things, making
you a bit hard and unyielding in later life.

Warmhearted and generous in love, you cannot tolerate
pettiness or stinginess in your partner. You want a Hero, a
Prince or Princess to idolize and adore, someone you
wholeheartedly admire and can be proud of. You are tremendously
loyal and devoted once you give your heart to someone.

You crave love, appreciation, and attention from others and
hate to be ignored. You are rather susceptible to flattery and
love to feel SPECIAL. You enjoy some drama and color in your
love life and grand romantic gestures or an extravagant
expression of generosity impresses you.

You crave very intense, deep, emotional relationships, and
would even prefer a stormy, tumultuous relationship to one which
is smooth but lacking vitality and passion. You love
wholeheartedly and expect all-consuming, total devotion and
attention from your partner. Casual, light relationships hold no
appeal for you.

You love to laugh, celebrate, and enjoy yourself with your
companions. Emotionally open and easygoing, you consider just
about anyone a friend or potential friend. Your good humor and
friendliness make you quite popular and well-liked. At times,
you overdo the festivities, but you rarely regret this.

Your pleasure-loving nature and your emotional and material
generosity discussed above are counterbalanced by a certain
caution or restraint in expressing your affection, and by a fear
of heartache. At times you are likely to be the jovial,
friendly, rather extravagant person mentioned previously, but at
other times you are far more contained as described here.
Because you are upbeat and fun-loving, people probably do not
suspect how sensitive you are to being left out or
unappreciated.

You are serious and find it difficult to enjoy yourself in a
lighthearted, open and playful way with others. You rarely do
something purely for pleasure, and can be very close-fisted and
parsimonious. Perhaps due to painful separations in your early
life, you are very cautious about becoming close to people and
sharing your feelings. Though you crave love and affection,
intimacy is difficult for you. You may become romantically
involved with people who do not value you or treat you well. You
need to learn to love and value yourself before you will find
happiness in love.

Chapter 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals

You are a perfectionist and have high standards for your own
work. You often feel that if you want something done right you
must do it yourself, for others do not do as thorough a job as
you do. Doing a task well is very important to you, and you may
labor over minute details that others wouldn't bother with. You
strive for accuracy, efficiency, and precision, and you become
very irritable when things are not done "right".

On the other hand, you can become so much of a perfectionist
and so self-critical that you will not even attempt many
activities and projects, feeling that your efforts simply won't
be good enough. You are usually modest and realistic in
assessing what you can accomplish and, if anything, you
underestimate yourself. Of course, practice makes perfect, and
if you do apply yourself diligently in some area, you gradually
gain self-confidence as you master skills and develop expertise.

You conserve your energy and pace yourself so that you do
not waste or diffuse your efforts. An unwillingness to take
risks or venture from the beaten track can sometimes limit your
opportunities. In short, you may not aim high enough and settle
for too little in life.

You have passionate convictions and will fight for them
when challenged. You are willing to dedicate a great deal of
your energy and force to an important cause, and you'll act
decisively on your beliefs, rather than simply espousing them.

Sometimes you get so involved and identified with your
ideas that you cannot really be receptive to anyone who opposes
you philosophically.

You may be able to sustain a great deal of tension over a
long period of time, but then suddenly release it by taking
unexpected very radical actions. And you are not above
challenging others for a decisive fight!

Language, words, communication, networking, clarity of
speech or writing, being a messenger or go-between -- these are
key features in your career, as well as how you go about
achieving your goals and ambitions. "Work smarter, not harder"
is your motto.
Your career is apt to involve protecting, caring,
nurturing, or "mothering" in some aspect. Home, family
relationships, cherishing the past, continuing a tradition are
also featured. You're apt to be quite popular through your
profession or business.

Your resistance and stamina is inclined to be a bit low and
you tend to be easily influenced by others. You may leave
yourself open to being corrupted by others and should guard
against involvement in situations that you may later regret.

Chapter 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy

Your strengths lie in your ability to cooperate, to be
diplomatic, and to know just what behavior is called for in
whatever social situation you find yourself. You also possess a
strong sense of fairness, the willingness to listen to opposing
viewpoints and opinions, and the ability to be (or at least seem
to be) impartial and moderate, rather than extreme and
one-sided.

Your career or contribution to the world at large is likely
to touch many people's lives in a very positive, helpful way.
You aim high and have an innate confidence and trust both in
your own abilities and in life in general, which enables you to
go far. You want to do something BIG with your life, and you
attract the support you need to do so, for your aims are not
solely for your own personal benefit. You want to give something
back to the world, or to improve others' lives as well as your
own.

Chapter 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You

You either overvalue or undervalue your possessions and
assets. You can also go to extremes in dealing with bodily needs
and desires, being either hedonistic or ascetic. You may deny
yourself sensual pleasure and enjoyment of the fruits of your
labors. You may also be stingy and unable to give freely. Many
times you feel that you do not have "enough" to make you feel
secure, regardless of how much (money, insurance, etc.) you
have!

It may be difficult for you to play spontaneously or just
let your hair down, for you tend to inhibit that side of
yourself by being too self-conscious and concerned with the
impression you are making.

You may work very hard at some sport or creative medium in
order to excel, for you want very, very much to be noticed,
acknowledged, and recognized as special in some way. Though you
may indeed be outstanding, you also need to learn to relax and
enjoy yourself more.

You are inclined to be somewhat withdrawn and have a hard
time discussing important matters with your family. A serious
and deep thinker, you would like to explain your views to
others, but have a difficult time finding the right words.

You try to build your life on solid ground, but may find it
difficult to move forward, because you always tend to look back.
This could result in feelings of inferiority and periodic moods
of depression.

Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you
instinctively and habitually revert to when under stress - a
mostly unconscious process and one which you are apt to overdo
because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction
you need to follow in order to develop balance, greater
awareness, and wholeness is also described.

You gain by becoming more aware of the rhythm of the seasons
and the natural world, learning to slow down and allow life to
unfold in its own time. Nurturing a garden, a child, or some
other living, growing thing gives you a sense of inner balance.

You have a tendency to be deeply suspicious, to not take
anything at face value, to see hidden agendas and dark motives
even where none exist! Life does not have to be conflict all the
time... learn to accept things as they are.

You also need to develop patience, peace and stability by
grounding yourself in your daily work and acting in a consistent
and reliable way towards others.

The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues
is in playful self-expression, games or sports, and creativity.
Try to develop any artistic, expressive, creative potentials you
feel you possess, utilizing the qualities described above.

             Chapter 9: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive

You have a reckless, impulsive, or very unconventional
attitude toward money, material things, and ownership. Above
all, you do not want to be possessed by your possessions. The
obligations of owning things are likely to feel oppressive to
you.

Also, you may make your money in a field that is
unconventional, highly unstable, or very inventive and
innovative. Your fortunes are likely to fluctuate widely
throughout your life.

You have a very active imagination and powerful fantasies.
You may develop an interest in the supernatural, psychic
phenomena, or occult subjects. You may have strange fantasies
and/or nebulous fears of "ghosts", "the astral plane", or death.
It's better for you not to dabble in such areas unless you are
thoroughly grounded in the practical world as well.

Emotional intensity, compulsive attraction, and a sense of
fate or destiny characterize your one-to-one relationships. It's
as if you simply cannot have light, superficial relationships;
they are inevitably profound, intense experiences which reveal
your depths to you. You may be drawn to powerful, charismatic,
willful people that challenge, thwart, and ultimately evoke your
own power and strengths. Your marriage is likely to be the arena
for your greatest growth.

You tend to get irritated quickly and are easily angered.
Subject to outbreaks of irrational behavior, you may snap at
someone for almost no reason. Your general rashness could lead
to accidents if you are not careful.

Your thinking may be a bit unclear and you have a tendency
to feel lonely and distant from others periodically. Fears of
your own inadequacies may distort your perspective and at times
you may feel that you no longer have the strength to go on.

You are highly sensitive to the world around you and tend to
be easily influenced by others. You are likely to experience
your emotions very profoundly and intense and could have a very
rich dream life with the possibility of precognitive dreams.

Chapter 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group

In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits
of your generation. Of course, you may not share all of the
characteristics of your generation, but you are greatly affected
by the tone that is set by your generation.

The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of
Your Age Group". In this section we will describe a deeply felt
urge, even compulsion, of your age group. This deeply felt drive
comes to the surface with great force and power, and
consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and
change. The second topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your
Age Group", that describes the dreams, fantasies, and spiritual
aspirations of your age group. The third and last topic is "What
is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes areas
in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive,
unusual, and also where it may be unstable and unreliable.

The characteristics described below may affect a group of
people for anywhere from a few years to about 30 years. There
are one or more different astrological factors described in each
of the three sections below.

The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group

You are part of a 30 year group of people who have a
lighthearted and carefree attitude towards life. Your
subconscious and emotional needs are not as great and not as
difficult as other generations. You approach life in a more airy
and easygoing manner. You know how to have a good time and do
not take life as seriously as other generations do.

You are a curious and inquisitive bunch and love puzzles and
word games. Some members of your generation will follow these
interests with great depth, and contribute spectacular
breakthroughs in the areas of languages, mathematics and logic.

These breakthroughs also highlight the importance of
educational skills and the benefits they can bring, and your
generation is highly motivated to improve the educational
standards and academic skills of people. A tremendous push is
given to ensure literacy of all people, to develop adequate
verbal and mathematical skills, and to slow down the dropout
rate from high schools. Needless to say, these are noble goals
that all generations support, but your generation puts a much
greater emphasis on these issues than others age groups do.

The generation following yours is far more emotional and
personally sensitive than your group. Consequently, many of you
are oblivious to the emotional support and tender nurturing that
your children (who are likely to be members of this next
generation) require.

The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group

You are part of a 14 year group of people that are highly
intuitive, emotional, and sentimental. Your generation
approaches religion in an emotional and devotional manner, and
is less concerned with specific dogma and doctrine than other
generations. You are an emotional and sentimental group that
clings to your memories of precious and special moments.

Those born in your generation can be highly inspired, but
also confused or upset by anything irrational or paranormal. The
old no longer suffices and the new is compelling but certainly
not easy to integrate. Your age group has a great fascination
with new techniques and innovations which seem almost
miraculous.

What is New and Different in Your Age Group

You are part of a 7 year group of people who are active in
reforming businesses, governments, and other large social
structures. A great deal of streamlining and reorganizing takes
place, most of which will help to improve the well-being of
people, the ultimate goal of these reforms. Your generation will
promote various reforms that will vary in different nations. For
example, some will increase socialization of public services and
others will put more services in the hands of private industry.
In either case, your generation strives for greater efficiency
and a great deal of waste is eliminated from industry and
government.
